Undergraduate Course Work
INR2001- International Relations
Fall 2015
Starting college as an Exploratory major, I selected International Relations with Dr. Nolan to see if my interests lied in Political Science. While I ultimately decided that Political Science was not the path for me, this is to this day one of the best classes I have taken at UF. I learned so much about the history of various intergovernmental bodies, policy making, and more!
GEB3373- International Business
Fall 2017
The nature of business is changing as globalization becomes more and more of a reality and integral component in our daily work! Dr. Phalin makes this class so beneficial for students as she presents not only on International topics and concepts but on current events that will ultimately affect each and every one of us. Her class encouraged me to read the Irish Times every day to keep up with my study abroad site and be knowledgeable about the world at large as well as how various international news outlets are reporting on domestic issues.
SPC4710- Intercultural Communication
Spring 2018
Not only do we receive conceptual knowledge in this class, but we also benefit from Dr. Kellerman's experience abroad as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malaysia and Fullbright Scholar in Tunisia. My eyes have been opened to various cultural practices, gestures, and symbols and I feel better prepared to communicate with the outside world!
